- Open the child app and use the pairing code currently shown to add it in your parent dashboard or Android Controller.
- Complete the required Android permission steps: VPN, accessibility, usage access, overlay and device administration where prompted.
- Check protection and connection status before relying on a schedule or app rule. Review battery/background settings if reporting stops.
Android manufacturers can restrict background services. Disabled permissions or a stopped service can limit enforcement. Another VPN can conflict with the app’s VPN, so check your device setup.
Guard Mobile runs on the child’s device. Guard Controller is a separate Android app for the parent. The current lineup does not include an iOS child app, location tracking, or a Mac child app.
